1000-Ib Sisters Star Tammy Slaton Just Got Engaged

1000-Ib Sisters star Tammy Slaton has revealed she is engaged.

It seems 2025 has been the year of dramatic change for the reality star, who has been on a major weight-loss journey.

The star had a pleasant surprise during Tuesday’s (June 24) episode, as she stepped on the scale to see that she now weighs an astonishing 250-lbs.

And while the number may not mean a lot to some, the Kentucky-born star weighed in at 605-lbs back in 2019.

Having managed to shred almost 400-lbs, things are only looking up for the TV personality.

But Tammy dropped some more bombshell information earlier in the week, when she let slip on a podcast that she is now a fiancée.

The star only just went public with her girlfriend of ‘around three years,’ revealing on her show just two months ago that she was dating Andrea Dalton.

And the 38-year-old isn’t the only Slaton to get engaged this year, as her sister, Amy, also revealed that she is engaged just last month.

Speaking on the Creative Chaos podcast, Tammy casually said: “Me and my fiancée, we just kind of chill at home.”

Before the interviewer quickly responded: “Hold on, you said fiancée?”

The star proudly showed off her shiny ring, as well as a necklace with her wife-to-be’s name on it.

But it wasn’t too long ago that the relationship was a complete secret.

Speaking on an episode of 1000-Ib Sisters, Tammy revealed: “Amy’s not the only one that’s seeing somebody new, so have I.

“I have been seeing someone for the past couple months and it’s going pretty well.”

She added: “The person I’m dating is a woman.

“So I haven’t told my family because my family’s gonna have something to say about it.

“I think my family probably has more opinions than the world has a**holes because they be farting so much.”

But the reaction from her family wasn’t quite as she imagined.

Responding to the news, Tammy’s mom voiced only support for her daughter’s relationship.

She said: “If Andrea genuinely cares for Tammy and makes her happy, then I’ll be happy with her.”

The couple met on a dating app, and the star noted they have never stopped speaking since that very moment.

The news of her engagement comes just two years after her former husband, Caleb Willingham, died of ‘natural’ causes at the age of 40.

After his passing, she revealed that she no longer had an interest in having relationships with a man.

On the show, she admitted: “A few years ago I came out as pansexual, but after Caleb passing, I just didn’t want to be with men anymore.”

It was a friend of Caleb’s who told Tammy, over message, that he had died.

He had been in a rehab facility in Ohio, prior to his passing.
